Parking lot at Applebee's
A Roseville teenager pleaded guilty last week in Macomb County Circuit Court and will serve a sentence of 8-20 years in prison for a carjacking and a police pursuit that began in the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant in Roseville, the Macomb Daily reports.
Jeremiah Collins, 16, was charged with taking a woman’s 2016 Jeep Patriot from the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant in Roseville on Nov. 24, 2025. Authorities alleged that he pointed a screwdriver at the woman and threatened her and her passenger, the Macomb Daily reports
After stealing the car, Collins became involved in a police chase that ended when he crashed the stolen car on Gratiot Avenue. He was arrested at the scene.
Collins was 15 at the time, but he was charged as an adult.
